Walk into each session already oriented.
Session Prep pulls together the relationship history, the client's context, and what has happened between sessions — so each conversation can start from where the work left off.

What it is
Session Prep is the coach-facing preparation layer. It helps you get back up to speed quickly before a session by drawing together the context that matters: recent sessions and their outputs, the client's onboarding context, and what has happened in the relationship since you last met.
Instead of digging through old notes, recaps, and messages, you arrive at the session with a clear, compact view of where the client is now.
How it works
Mentri assembles Session Prep from the client's timeline: prior session transcripts, recent Client Recaps and Coaching Debriefs, AI Companion activity since the last session, any client responses to nudges, and open threads worth revisiting.
It is surfaced in your coach portal ahead of the next session, and updates as new activity comes in.
What coaches get out of this
Walk into each session already oriented, without digging through old notes and recaps.
See what has happened between sessions — Companion activity, client responses to nudges, open threads.
Pick up threads from the last session cleanly, with the context already in front of you.
Less cognitive drag between sessions — the relationship context is waiting for you, not something you have to rebuild each time.
What clients get out of this
A coach who arrives present and continuous, not catching up at the start of the session.
A sense that the work between sessions was noticed, not forgotten.
What shapes this output
Session Prep is shaped by everything Mentri already holds about the relationship. The further the relationship has run, and the richer the context, the more useful the prep becomes.
Coach control and boundaries
Session Prep is a view, not an action. Nothing leaves the platform based on what it surfaces. You decide what to carry into the session itself.
The material Session Prep draws on lives in your own portal. Adjusting client context, editing a recap, or archiving a nudge changes what shows up in future prep — the view stays tied to what is currently true.
Private to you. Clients do not see Session Prep.
Read-only surface — useful for orienting, without adding a new thing to maintain.
Reflects the current state of the client's timeline, not a frozen snapshot.
Where this sits in the flow
Session Prep sits in the pre-session moment. It depends on previous sessions having been captured, and on the client context being in place — which means it benefits directly from Client Onboarding, past recaps, Coaching Debriefs, and between-session Companion activity.
