A context-aware assistant for your coaching workspace.

Mentri Assistant reads the page you are currently on and the material in your portal, and responds in that scope — part navigation layer, part conversational tool for drawing insight from your own work.

What it is

Mentri Assistant is a coach-facing assistant inside the platform. It is context-aware in that it responds to whatever page you are currently viewing — a client timeline, a session, a debrief, the practice dashboard.

That page-awareness lets it work partly as a navigation and support layer inside Mentri, and partly as a conversational tool for drawing insight from material already in your portal.

How it works

The Assistant reads the context of the page you are currently on, and the material in your workspace that is relevant to it — client timelines, recent sessions, Coaching Debriefs, recaps, notes — and answers within that scope.

Useful both for "where do I find…"-style navigation and for "what is the pattern in this client's recent sessions" reflection.

What coaches get out of this

  • Ask questions of your own portal without digging through pages.

  • Pull insight across a client's history without re-reading every session end-to-end.

  • A lightweight navigation and shortcut layer inside Mentri, always available on whichever page you are on.

What the Assistant draws on

The Assistant is scoped to the page you are on and the material in your own workspace. It does not draw on other coaches' portals, and it does not go outside the platform. The more context your portal holds — sessions, recaps, debriefs, client context — the more useful its answers become.

Coach control and boundaries

The Assistant is scoped to your own workspace. Nothing it returns goes beyond the platform; nothing it surfaces is visible to clients or to other coaches.

As with the wider Mentri portal, the material the Assistant draws on lives inside your workspace. Export and deletion controls in Settings apply to it in the same way as the rest of your data.

  • Private to you. The Assistant does not cross between coach workspaces.

  • Not client-facing. The Assistant is a coach-side tool.

  • Standard Mentri data controls apply — export and deletion are self-serve in Settings.

Honest about where this feature sits

Mentri Assistant is the one part of the product we are describing as evolving rather than fully settled. In its current form, it is a lightweight, context-aware widget inside the platform: helpful for navigation, and useful as a way to interrogate the material already in your portal.

Looking forward, there is a real question about whether this remains a single feature, or grows into two distinct things: a platform assistant that stays close to what it is today, and a more dedicated coach development companion — a workspace for deeper reflection, aggregated timelines, and feedback generated across clients over time.

We would rather name that direction clearly than overclaim where the feature is right now.

Where this sits in the flow

Mentri Assistant is available across the coach workspace, at every point in the session loop. It is most useful alongside Coaching Debrief and Session Prep — the reflective and orienting moments where pulling material from the portal saves the most time.
