What it is
Nudges are coach-controlled follow-through prompts scheduled between sessions. They may take the form of a reflection prompt, a reminder of a commitment the client made during the conversation, or a small question worth sitting with before the next session.
You review and edit each nudge, and you decide when it is sent.
How it works
Mentri drafts a candidate nudge from session evidence — typically a commitment or thread worth revisiting — shaped by your coaching style and the client's context.
You approve, edit, and schedule each nudge before it reaches the client. Tone and timing are both yours to set.
What coaches get out of this
Continuity between sessions without you having to be the one remembering each open thread.
A draft grounded in what the client committed to during the session.
Commitment visibility without turning the coaching relationship into a chase.
Full control over tone and timing on every nudge.
What clients get out of this
A prompt tied to something from the session.
A well-timed reminder of what they chose to work on, before the next session rolls around.
Continuity with the work between sessions — without feeling managed or chased.
What shapes this output
Nudges draw on the session transcript for evidence, and are shaped by your coaching style and the client's onboarding context. The same nudge would read differently for a different coach and a different client.
Coach control and boundaries
Every nudge is coach-reviewed. Mentri drafts; you decide. Nothing is sent on a default schedule without your approval.
You can edit wording, shift the send time, or hold a nudge back entirely. The rhythm of between-session contact stays yours to shape.
Edit any nudge draft before it goes out — wording, length, tone.
Reschedule or cancel at any point up until the moment it sends.
Hold a nudge back if the session calls for quieter space afterwards.
Where this sits in the flow
Nudges sit in the between-session space alongside the AI Companion — the two together carry the work forward between live sessions. They are drafted from the same session evidence that shapes the Client Recap, and are shaped by the same client context captured during Client Onboarding.
